The mini tour kicks off at Gongladen

Saturday august 26th the mini tour premiered at Gongladen, Rødby, Denmark.
The concert took place at an old barn that had a lot of rustic windows. This made for an amazing ambience as the sun went down, but unfortunately it disturbed our stage lighting.

The approach for this concert was different than all my earlier concerts, which has had a more standard rock/pop setup. For a long time I have wanted to try something new, so for this show I've decided to employ a more electronic sound. This is the first concert I've held with no live drumming. It is also the first time I've decidedto play the Chapman Stick instead of guitar.

With me on stage were Tanja Hollerup on vocals and Jesper H. Petersen on bass. Both have been with me since my very first concert. A new addition to the band were Anders Frey on guitar. Anders and I have been working on a lot of different projects these past few years. Anders joined me on stage for 'The Jackdaw' when we played a gig on Fanoe in 2017, but this was the first time we played a full show together.

Another first I am very excited about, is the use of lasers. I have always had a fascination with lasers, and having them is an integral part of my concerts is a dream come true. The light- and laser show was designed by Mikkel Møller Larsen of FOCUS Events. Mikkel did the lights for my show a Hundested Kino in 2019, and I am very happy to work with him again.
